This past weekend, the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC) held their annual draft and picked up Akron Aviators guard, Davon Eley. Eley joins Desmond Gattis and Tony Anderson as the 3rd Akron Aviator to be picked up internationally. We’re very proud and happy for the next stage in his career. We’ll be rooting for him from Akron. Do us proud!

The Hurricanes selected Davon Eley in the first round (11th overall) and Donall Tuff in the second (20th overall). Eley is a six-foot-four guard from Lakeland Community College in Ohio, where he distinguished himself as a three-point shooter. He played for the Akron Aviators of the American Basketball Association last year.
